HIT Weihai Visits Donghai Semiconductor to Advance Industry–Academia–Research

On the afternoon of August 26, 2025, a delegation from the College of Information Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai), led by Professor Wang, visited Donghai Semiconductor Co., Ltd. for a tour and exchange. Chairman Xia Huazhong warmly welcomed the guests and accompanied them through the company’s multimedia exhibition hall. During the visit, the delegation gained a comprehensive overview of Donghai Semiconductor’s corporate culture, development milestones, core products, and technology applications, with particular interest in the company’s achievements in innovation-driven R&D and intelligent manufacturing.

Following the tour, both parties held a meeting to conduct in-depth discussions on Donghai Semiconductor’s R&D framework, product performance, and quality control. Company representatives provided a systematic briefing on advancements in technology accumulation, process innovation, and industry applications. The professors expressed strong interest in Donghai’s products and engaged in a vigorous exchange on technical details, market trends, and pathways for future collaboration.

The visit strengthened mutual understanding and laid a solid foundation for the next phase of university–enterprise cooperation, including joint R&D platforms, talent cultivation, and technology transfer.
